The Bendheim Gallery at the Greenwich Arts Council presents the work of eight contemporary American photographers in an exhibition entitled Here Is Where We Are. These individual art works are quite diverse. They illustrate the many different aesthetic and technical directions that photography has taken today. Color pervades the show and the human figure, frequently distorted, also appears as a major theme.

Gallery hours are:
Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM
Saturday, noon to 5 PM
Sunday, noon to 4 PM

Rodin Exhibit at Stamford Museum and Nature Center

Stamford Museum & Nature Center's spring exhibition focuses on art in its purest form, as it examines the work of one of the most important figures in the art world, the French sculptor, Auguste Rodin.

Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for children 5-1.

New works from over thirty Scottish printmakers from five print studios in Scotland will be on display in the spring exhibition at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking, 299 West Avenue, Mathews Park, Norwalk, Connecticut (USA).

The gallery opening is on Wednesday, March 18, from 4 – 7 PM. Refreshments will be served. This exhibition presents a detailed and exclusive look at Scottish culture as it is expressed in contemporary fine art printmaking, exploring current trends in imagery, technique, and presentation.

The exhibition runs from March 19 through May 16, 2009, and is FREE to the public.
Hours are Mon.-Sat., 9 AM – 5 PM; closed on Sundays.
