FILM SCREENING: The Legend of Pale Male
With film director and producer, Frederic Lilien
4:00-6:00 pm

Join Frederic Lilien for this special screening of The Legend of Pale Male - a new film that will receive the 2009 Best of Festival award at the International Wildlife Film Festival in Missoula, Montana this May.

This true story is about a young man’s 18 year journey into the soul of New York as he follows Pale Male, the legendary hawk of 5th Avenue. When Pale Male’s nest is destroyed, birdwatchers, movie stars, poets, dogs, children, and late night TV hosts create a climax that could only happen in New York!

Frederic Lilien’s first film, Pale Male garnered 15 international awards and has aired in more than 75 countries. His work has been featured in documentaries for HBO, Canal Plus, Turner Broadcasting, and PBS. The Legend of Pale Male is his first feature film and is the culmination of 16 years of following New York’s love affair with one remarkable red-tailed.

The film length is 1 hour and 25 minutes and the event will also include time for discussion with Mr. Lilien.

A donation of $10 is suggested.
