Wedding Cake 
Decorating & Tasting Contest!

from 2pm - 5pm


ENTER YOUR CAKE  

It's FREE!

Prizes include $250 for best tasting cake and $250 for best decorated cake!

Local bakers and bakeries are invited to compete in a Wedding Cake Tasting & Competition being sponsored by the Danbury Museum & Historical Society in conjuction with the Wedding Through the Ages exhibit of vintage wedding gowns from the museum's textile collection.

Two cash prizes of $250 will be awarded to the winner of two categories: taste and decoration.

There is no entry fee for those interested in competing.

There are no restrictions on the form or content of your cake. Competitors are asked to provide a cake larege enought to supply a small piece to 250 attendees. The museum will provide tables, cupcake holders for cake samples to be served, linens and utensils.

In addition to tasting all the wonderful cakes, attendees of this event will be treated to champagne, sparkling water and live music in the gorgeous Danbury Museum gardens.

Each entry will be photographed for an online exhibit on the museum's website!
Tickets are $10 per person, free for children under 12.
Tickets are available in advance at the Danbury Museum or at the door the day of the event.
